While you are here it is Michelle Shores, our General Manager, that you will see the most. As matriarch of the family, it’s only fitting that she should be the one at the forefront of all things pleasant! Michelle not only keeps all of the campground systems running, she is also the magic behind all of our guest experiences as well as making sure we are offering you interesting and varied activities to do while you are here.

If you need information on things to do around the State of Maine, check with Michelle. She most recently worked as the Advertising Manager for the Maine Tourism Association, so it’s possible she may know a thing or two about unique experiences and little known gems! Michelle is also a multi-award-winning author of the best-selling book “The Gathering Room – A Tale of Nelly Butler.” She can help you find just the right book to read while hanging out in a hammock or lounging around the pool! Michelle brings a unique and interesting perspective to our campground and provides us all with pleasant vibes!

It takes a lot of people to keep Pleasant Hill Campground running! We are so lucky to have extended family members, friends and work campers! We have an amazing team of individuals who are dedicated to our vision and work hard every day to make your stay enjoyable.
