Pleasant Hill Campground is located only five miles from Bangor, the third largest city in Maine. You can easily check out the foodie scene downtown, attend a Waterfront Concert, or catch games and events at the University of Maine or Husson University.
Looking for a day trip? We’re about an hour’s drive from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, Katahdin Woods & Waters National Monument, and the Moosehead Lake Region.
Seeking the sea? Visit Boothbay Harbor, Camden, and the rest of the mid Coast or head “Downeast” to Maine’s tiny fishing villages like Winter Harbor for some great Maine Lobster. Or visit Eastport, the most Eastern city in the US.
